Tasting notes
Medium red. Redcurrant, musky herbs and a medicinal nuance on the nose. Juicier and fresher than the Roncerets but quite closed today, conveying a stronger impression of acidity, menthol and minerality. I find this a bit youthfully disjointed today. But the finish shows fairly suave tannins and good energy for the year.

Bright medium red. Reticent nose hints at mint and rocky minerality, with fruit in the deep background. Offers good density and a seamless texture but comes across as rather inexpressive today, with modest flesh and a minty nuance. In fact, this is downright clenched at the moment. Boillot notes that it was much more open before the racking into tank a couple weeks prior to my visit.
