Pale yellow. Aromas of stone fruits, apple, clove and flowers. Gentle, ripe and sweet, but with good inner-mouth tension to the flavors of peach and flowers. Already an appealing wine; in fact, I'd enjoy this in its youth. Very smooth on the back end. A delicious bottle, but I find it more evolved than the young 2009.

Pale yellow. Musky, leesy, slightly reduced aromas of peach, lemon and flowers. Juicy and tactile but less obviously sweet than most of the foregoing samples, offering complex notes of flowers and minerals. Rich but not exotic. Finishes with lovely length and lingering minerality, plus a late note of menthol. I like this style.
