Pale, yellow-green color. Bright aromas of lemon, lime and flowers. At once sweet and energetic, with lovely purity to its concentrated citrus and floral flavors. On the rich and sweet side but quite suave. This seems far more energetic and classic than the barrel sample I tried a year ago.

Light and with a good line and depth. Something to chew on. Lemon cough drops. (JR)

Pale yellow. More exotic nose is dominated by a scent of mirabelle; this reminded me of a 2006. Rich, sweet and fat, with yellow plum and nutty oak flavors in need of a bit more acidity (this is always a low-acid wine, notes Boudot). I find this a bit too fat and would predict a relatively rapid evolution for this wine.
