Warm vintage and a big crop. Pale and bricky and a little cloudy. Back to the decay and undergrowth and a sickly sweetness and some marmite, but there’s still a sort of redcurrant sweetness. Leather and leaves. Then a sweet citrus juciy acidy to lift the finish. Not past it but not going to get much better. (JH)
