Score 92-94/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024
The 2022 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru has turned out very well, unwinding in the glass with notes of orange zest, plums, dark berries, spices and smoke, followed by a medium to full-bodied, plush and layered palate that's deep and textural, concluding with a penetrating finish. It's a strong effort that exhibits good density without any concomitant asperity.

30% whole clusters. Cask sample. Mid-pale ruby. Red fruits on the nose, quite restrained and minimalist. Elegant with modest fruit and no great girth. Refined rather than plush. A step across rather than a step up from the Les Petits Monts. ‘A very personal interpretation’, says Nicolas Faure. (MH)
