The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains exhibits notes of mandarin oil, crisp apple and honeycomb, followed by a glossy, full-bodied and expansive palate, with ripe acids, good concentration and chewy extract. It's a more textural, generous expression of the vintage that will offer a lot of pleasure at the table.

(production of 30 hectoliters per hectare): Bright lemon-yellow. Aromas of lemon and minerals plus a suggestion of resiny reduction. Fat, ripe and sweet, displaying good breadth to its flavors of lemon and powdered stone. Best today on the building finish, which offers classic notes of citrus zest and stony minerality. This is in a rather easygoing style and should offer relatively early drinkability.
