2015 Domaine Pierre Morey Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru

The 2015 Batard Montrachet Grand Cru is exactly the same wine as the Morey Blanc Bâtard this year, which is not the case every year. The bouquet is very complex, quite penetrating and almost fiery with spicy citrus fruit that doesn't take no for an answer. The palate is medium-bodied with a touch of viscosity on the entry, white pepper here and spices, fanning out wonderfully on the energetic and weighty finish. This is a sublime Bâtard-Montrachet from winemaker Anne Morey.
