Score 15.5/20 · Drink 2005-2012, Jancis Robinson MW, Oct 2004

Dark crimson with some evolution at the rim. A nutty, autumn savour on the nose. This wine is relatively developed and mellow though there is a bit of green streak on this one too. Quite green tannins mark the finish. Tough tannins and obvious alcohol. (JR)

Score 87/100 · Drink 2000-2018, Robert Parker, Oct 1996

Less complex than many of the 1994 vintage ports, this one-dimensional port is full, rich, and concentrated. Although there is some bitterness in the back, this should turn out to be a very good to excellent 1994. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2018.
