(30% new oak; Pillot has picked this parcel much earlier since 2012): Bright, pale yellow with green highlights. Aromas of lemon, lime and vanilla, plus a flinty note of limestone reduction. Highly concentrated and powerful, dominated in the early going by tactile, rocky minerality. A superb mineral-driven example of Morgeot with the spine for a slow and positive evolution in bottle.

(33% new oak; Pillot picked these vines on the first day of the harvest): Aromas of pear, vanilla and white flowers. Linear and precise but with good thickness of texture to the lime, lemon and floral flavors. Aromatic and long but a bit youthfully disjointed, as the wine's spiky acidity will need time to soften and harmonize with its fruit.
