Tasting notes
Similarly deep ruby/purple-hued, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon DuBrul Vineyard comes from a great site on the northern edge of the Yakima Vally. Aged just under two years in 90% new oak, it has a classic DuBrul nose of savory red and black currants, loamy earth, dried tobacco, and spicy, cedar pencil-like nuances. With medium to full body, its oak is much better integrated compared to the Rosebud release, and it has a layered, seamless mouthfeel, beautiful yet substantial tannins, and a great finish. Give it just 2-3 years and enjoy over the following two decades.

Framed with spiced plum and blackberry skin notes, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Dubrul Vineyard is bold, juicy and supported by a firm underpinning of fresh mineral and graphite notes intertwined with oak and spice. Unwinding and unfurling on the palate, the wine reveals a fresh, juicy nature that will persist as food-friendly for years to come. Lingering with a spicy and dark cherry essence, the finish is dusty and invites patience, suggesting the wine will evolve beautifully with time in the bottle.
