Ample blue fruits, violets, and classy oak notes emerge from the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Rosebud Vineyard, which comes from a site on the Wahluke Slope and is 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% each of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Full-bodied, concentrated, yet young and unevolved, it’s a gorgeous wine needing 2-4 years of bottle age and will keep for 15-20. The quality coming from winemaker Justin Wylie over the past 4 to 5 years certainly merits special attention. These are rich, full-bodied, concentrated wines that show plenty of oak yet wonderful purity of fruit as well.
