Score 86-89/100 · Drink 2025-2037, Neal Martin, Jan 2023
The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny La Combe d’Orveau has a lovely, very pure bouquet with raspberry and blackcurrant scents, a touch of graphite lurking in the background. The palate is very supple, with well-integrated oak, fine focus and poise, though there is just a slight vegetative element on the finish that I hope will assimilate with bottle age. I'll be prudent with my score for the time being.
