Amontillado from a solera started in 1922. Lots of flavour, dried apricots, dried peaches and a touch of smoke. It is quite a soft wine on the palate, not at all sharp but delicate. Deep, pleasant and with a long aftertaste. Perhaps not so filled-up with aromas compared with other old Amontillados, but really soft, deep and pleasant. (FC)

PX. Fortified and kept in a very old solera system. It has a rough and powerful style, salty palate and taken to the limit in terms of oxidation. It shows iodine, nutty character and concentration. Slightly over-oxidised, which reduces its finesse. (FC)
