Tasting notes
The 2022 Pinot Noir Botanica floods the senses with wafts of wild cherry, strawberry, juniper, lichen and bitters. The medium-bodied palate is concentrated and elegant with detailed, layered flavors. It has a lacy frame of tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, spicy finish.

A jeweled red hue, the 2022 Pinot Noir Botanica offers more depth, with compelling and pure layers of framboise, sage, mossy earth, purple wildflowers, and cedar. It fills the palate with a medium to full-bodied frame and an expansive feel through the mid-palate, and it has a seamless texture, closing with lasting notes of salty earth and dark stones. Drink 2026-2046.
The 2022 Pinot Noir Botanica is the dark horse of Antica Terra’s range, bursting from the glass with a collage of dusty rose petals, cloves, blue flowers, black cherries and nuances of ash. A pretty inner sweetness is offset by cooling mineral tones and crisp red berry fruits that sweep across the palate, all driven by tantalizing acidity. Sneaky tannins mount through the finish as the 2022 leaves a spicy sensation and a licorice tinge that resonates. Both generous and deep yet complex. This is a wine for now or the cellar. It's a model of radiance. In 2022, the Botanica was refined in 68% new oak. Is this the wine of the vintage? I’d say so.
