Full bottle 1,464 g. Clone 777 on 420A rootstock planted on Goudling series loam. Harvested 24 September at 25.5 Brix and pH 3.6. 20-day fermentation in small open-top, stainless-steel fermenters. Aged in French oak, 50% new. 106 cases produced. Tasted blind. Spice cake and OAK. It smells like Pinot Noir crossed with port. Sweet candied red cherries, cola and wet leaves. Very warm with intense vanilla and cocoa notes on the palate. (SCJ)
