Score 92/100 · Drink 2015-2021, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Feb 2014

Candied red fruit, sweet spices and mint are all woven together in the 2011 Pinot Noir Scallop Shelf Estate. In my view this is the most overt, fruit-driven Pinot in the range. The Scallop Shelf is quite supple and generous for the year, yet it retains plenty of vintage 2011 acidity and brightness. This is another very pretty wine from the Peay family.
