Medium red. Pristine aromas of perfumed red berries and crushed stone. Then sweet, lush, pliant and concentrated, with smoky depth of flavor and a strong impression of soil tones. Finishes long and ripely tannic, with lovely generosity of flavor and lingering sweetness.

Cask sample. Sweet and lively and easy. Great depths of flavour and real life. Well balanced. Maybe too evolved? (JR)
