Restrained but rather impressive nose. Good balance. Very fresh, zesty village wine. Correct. Though definitely a beginning rung rather than a destination...! (JR)

(the estate owns ten different parcels) Good full, deep red. Tangy aromas of maraschino cherry and spice. Juicy, lively and perfumed, with a hint of fresh herbs and a light touch. Pure and fine. This is classic Chambolle-in contrast to some heavier village wines made in this very ripe year.
