Tasting notes
Disgorged in May 2019 with 4.5 grams per liter dosage, the 2015 Brut Rosé Campania Remensis is showing brilliantly. From a south-facing site characterized by sandy soils over limestone bedrock, it wafts from the glass with a beautiful bouquet of pear, red apple, fresh mint and pastry cream. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and charming, with a crisp core of fruit, a delicate mousse and fine-boned structure. This is one of the finest rosé wines I've tasted from Bérêche.

‘The country of Reims’ in Latin. 60% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay, 5% Pinot Meunier with 5% still red. 3.5 g/l dosage. Very Pinot perfume. Much too serious for the swimming pool – on sale only after the summer! A rosé for the table. Perfume and gorgeousness. Real chewiness on the end. A little salty too. Long. (JR)
