Score 93/100 · Drink 2025-2035, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Aug 2025

Mostly from the Flocchini Vineyard, the 2023 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast was fermented with around 25% whole clusters and matured for 18 months in 10% new oak. It has a pale ruby-garnet color and alluring scents of strawberry, raspberry, dark mushrooms, woodsmoke and bitters-like spice. Harvested nearly three weeks later than normal (at a modest 12.5% alcohol), the light-bodied palate is elegantly styled, offering woodsy, earthy complexity, fine-grained tannins, mouthwatering acidity and a long, nuanced finish. 498 cases were made.
