The 2017 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard is just as pretty as it was in barrel. Bright and floral, the 2017 shows very good energy. Sweet red cherry, blood orange, mint, white pepper and sweet spice are all laced together in this medium-bodied Zinfandel. The Dogtown is lithe, vibrant and classy.

The 2017 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard has a pale to medium ruby-purple color and is scented of soft yellow peach, sliced blueberry, boysenberry and crushed black cherries with a core of licorice and exotic spice plus hints of charcuterie and granite. Medium-bodied, it gives a great core of ripe fruits with loads of spicy accents and earthy hints—very concentrated in the mouth, with great juicy acidity and firm, fine, grainy tannins, finishing very long and very layered. 450 cases produced.
One of the more compelling wines in this range, the 2017 Zinfandel Dogtown Vineyard is intensely aromatic and striking in its beauty. Succulent red cherry, mint, hard candy, sweet spice, orange peel and floral notes are nicely lifted. The Dogtown is one of the most expressive 2017s in the lineup today.
