Tasting notes
Medium ruby colored, the 2014 Pinot Noir Rochioli Riverblock Vineyard offers notes of baked cherries, warm cranberries, herbs and earth with a savory / stems character in the undercurrent. Medium-bodied, the palate has lovely lift and energy to it with a chewy edginess that really works. It should age gracefully over the next 12 years+.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Rochioli Riverblock Vineyard is another very pretty and expressive Pinot from Williams Selyem. Sweet red berry and floral notes make a positive first impression. Silky and medium in body, the Rochioli is all about finesse. This is a decidedly feminine, lithe Russian River Pinot. Drink it over the next decade.
About the producer
Williams Selyem is an iconic Russian River Valley winery best known for its Pinot Noir. Producing restrained yet classically Californian expressions of the heartbreak grape (as well as a host of other wines), the property has gone from pioneer to one of the region’s standard-bearers.
