Tasting notes
The 2012 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse returns to the tropical fruit side of Chardonnay, with pineapple, mango, mandarin orange and honeysuckle notes. Long, rich, full-bodied, crisp and zesty, this is a juicy, succulent, opulent and full-bodied Chardonnay to drink over the next 5-7 years.

The 2012 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is one of the richer, creamier wines in the range. Almonds, white flowers and mint blossom in the glass, but it is the bouquet that stands out the most for its high-toned notes and overall sense of lift.
The 2012 Chardonnay Trenton Roadhouse is a wine of texture and resonance above all else. A deep, earthy Chardonnay, the Trenton Roadhouse shows off tropical-inflected overtones, with hints of spice and earthiness, all with more than enough creaminess and volume to fill out its broad shouldered frame nicely. The oily, expressive finish is quite attractive.
About the producer

Kistler’s Chardonnays are some of the world’s most sought-after. This cult Californian producer crafts small volumes of exceptional, rich and generous, yet mineral and precise wines. With almost the entire production sold directly to their mailing list, the wines are also incredibly hard to find.
