The 2012 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard comes across as quite supple and voluptuous today, with tons of upfront juiciness. Racy and opulent from the outset, the Kistler Vineyard blossoms with notable depth and layers of enveloping fruit. Dark red cherry, plum, spice and lavender add the final notes of complexity in a racy, perfumed Pinot to drink over the next decade.
The 2012 Pinot Noir Kistler Vineyard is a model of understatement and class. Sweet red berries, mint, rose petals and licorice all waft from the glass in a subtle, impeccably perfumed wine laced with tons of class. Silky tannins support the gracious, perfumed finish. The flavors are wonderfully alive and pulsating in this striking Pinot Noir from Steve Kistler.
