Tasting like a Northern Rhone Syrah, the 2013 Cotes du Rhone has lots of peppery herbs, olive, violets and dark fruit on the nose. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, balanced and textured, with beautiful precision and purity. It’s a classy, well-made red to drink over the coming 5-6 years.
