Tasting notes
Similar to Caymus' ultra-rich Special Selection, though somewhat less ripe and extracted, with fleshy black fruit, chocolatey oak and cedar, black olive and liquorice shadings. Well-made for the style. (LM)

Bright ruby-red. Aromas of cassis, spicecake and bitter chocolate, with a strong component of sweet, nutty oak. Lush, full and sweet, with black fruit, dark chocolate and graphite flavors dominating. Finishes with big, broad, mouthdusting tannins that coat the front teeth. (ST)
