Tasting notes
Lifted aromas of pine needles, conifer and forest floor. Black fruit, such as blackcurrants and blackberries. Full-bodied with layers of fine tannins that have a dusty or crushed-stone texture. Solid as a rock. A muscular and toned wine. Better after 2025.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Elevation 1147 is the richest and most structured of the David Arthur Cabernets. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, leather and spice lend notable depth and power. The tannins need time to soften. Today, the Elevation is a brute.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Elevation 1147 is a dark, brooding wine. Potent tannins wrap around a core of dark mountain fruit. Black cherry, lavender, menthol, sage and dried herbs gradually open, giving the 2019 terrific expansiveness and presence. This is another very promising 2019 Cabernet from David Arthur and winemaker Nile Zacherle.
