2010 Massican Annia

47% Tocai Friulano, 33% Ribolla Gialla, 20% Chardonnay. Mixed citrus aromatics – kumquat and lime – with a savoury undercurrent turning more lacy and delicate on the palate while still carrying a persistent core of power and palate stimulation. Floral notes lift from the palate but the wine here is more primarily savoury with a full range of fruits – citrus, orchard accents, and hints of stone fruits. The palate opens with the flavours of the Italian varieties but finishes showing the Chardonnay. Long finish. (ECB)
