Score 89-91/100 · Drink 2017-2029, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Dec 2015

The 2014 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru comes from purchased grapes and constitutes just one barrel. I must say, I found the nose here just a little disjointed in the context of Etienne's Premier Crus. The palate is better with fine tannin and quite gamey in the mouth, although the oak needs to be better assimilated towards the finish.
