95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc. 18 months in 100% French oak, of which 80% was new. All organic estate-grown fruit. Cassis and scorched earth on the nose. Brambly wild fruits too. Initially juicy but finishes quite dry with tannin and wood. Smoky, dried fruit on the back end. A little chunky and clunky. (TP)

Cabernet Sauvignon based proprietary red is finely honed, sophisticated and mannered. Pretty aromas of cassis, mineral and a trace of herbs. Ideal ripeness, polished tannins and judicious use of oak. (LM)
