A selection of lots assembled from the other Bordeaux red wines, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Petits Morlet is slightly herbal, with subtle notes of pencil shavings accenting straightforward cassis fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, supple and easy drinking, with an almost creamy-textured mid-palate and a softly dusty finish tinged with licorice.

What functions as an entry level wine from this great estate, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Petits Morlet is bright and juicy, with wild cherry, tobacco, and leafy herbs notes in a sweetly fruited, round, creamy, and undeniably delicious package. Drink it over the coming decade.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Les Petits Morlet is a terrific introduction to this range. Bright floral and spice notes open first. This charming, mid-weight Cabernet from Luc and Jodie Morlet holds tons of appeal. Crushed raspberry, mint, cedar and leather linger. The 2019 is beautifully done.
