Slightly more creamy on the nose than the Bougros. Seductive citrus and vanilla. Minerally flavours but creamy texture on the palate giving breadth on the finish. Very fine. Surprisingly approachable. (JH)

(just bottled) Pale, green-tinged color. Very ripe aromas of dried apricot, peach and almond, with vibrant notes of lime and mint. Strong on the attack, then concentrated, juicy and firm, with an almost phenolic edge to the fruit. This boasts terrific volume. Finishes powerful and long, with a palate-dusting quality. This is still quite expressive due to an oxygenation at the bottling but will probably shut down soon. The crop level in this south-facing parcel was about 35 hectoliters per hectare, says Seguier.
