40-year-old vines. All aged in oak barrels for 10 months (25–30% new). Pale garnet. Rather fresh and subtle on the nose. Some raciness and verve. Real refreshment here. And depth too. Great balance and apparent potential to age. I could already enjoy this and like the fact that the sweetness is not too pronounced. Quite long. (JR)
