Tasting notes
Scents of cassis, rose petals, orange rind and red berries preface the 2019 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Couchereaux (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot), a medium to full-bodied, fleshy and enveloping wine that's lively and mouthwatering. Ample and generous, this will offer a broad drinking window.

The 2019 Beaune Clos des Couchereaux 1er Cru definitely has the most floral of Jadot’s Beaune Premier Crus; rose petal scents infuse the brambly red fruit, mixed with a light marine scent. The palate is medium-bodied with with fine tannins and a keen bead of acidity. This is very elegant and shows impressive poise toward the finish. A delicious Beaune in the making.
About the producer

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
