Score 16/20 · Drink 2021-2025, Tamlyn Currin, jancisrobinson.com, May 2021

Full bottle 1,353 g. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale. From vines more than 50 years old. Hand-picked and 100% destemmed. Fermented in cement tanks and then aged in oak barrels for 12 months.  Smells of burnt apricots and the red skin of ripe nectarines. Sharply and meticulously fruity, with an unusual white-stone-fruit character rather than the red berries one would usually associate with Pinot. Tannins that feel like super-polished cement. (TC)
