Fermented in stainless steel. RS 7.6 g/l. 1,551 cases made. Pale-to-light yellow-gold. Scents of beeswax, candied lemon, bee pollen and a bit of parchment. Flavours of lemon curd, Asian pear, candied citrus peel and bee pollen have a wonderfully resonant quality with a hint of stoniness. Very good acidity keeps things fresh, but this wine is headed into that delightful phase of older Riesling where it becomes nectar-like. (AY)

That talcy smell of New World Riesling with a little RS and light chewiness in evidence. Racy lime juice that I’m sure I’d love on a picnic in California but couldn’t imagine buying for my cellar. Surprisingly little evolution for a 2014. (JR)
