Moving to the reds, the 2016 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley has a gorgeous bouquet of black raspberries, spice, incense, and mulled strawberries. It's medium to full-bodied, silky and pure, with gorgeous integration of its fruit, acidity, and tannins. Aged 16 months in 60% new French oak, it’s more than a little impressive and is a classic, elegant Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. These wines come all from estate fruit and are made by Dan Fishman. The wines show singular characters, yet share impeccably made, balanced profiles.

Sourced from the Winside vineyard and aged in 50% new French oak, the medium to deep ruby-purple colored 2016 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley Estate gives up notes of kirsch, redcurrant jelly, black raspberries and crab apples with touches of star anise, cumin seed and cardamom. The medium-bodied palate is wonderfully perfumed with a ripe, fine-grained frame and bold freshness, finishing with great length. 827 cases produced.
