Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2006

Tight nose hints at mint, fresh herbs and earth. Tightly wound and a bit youthfully harsh at the outset, but grew richer and creamier as it opened in the glass. Still, this is showing more soil tones than primary fruit today and shares the rusticity of a couple other of this estate's premier crus in 2004.
