Tasting notes
Dark ruby. Fresh black and blue fruits, candied flowers and exotic spices on the intensely perfumed nose, lifted by a smoky mineral overtone. Smooth, sweet and seamless in the mouth, offering powerful blueberry, cherry liqueur, violet and spicecake flavors that tighten up steadily with air. Powerful yet lively, delivering superb finishing thrust and well-knit tannins that shape the long, blue-fruit-dominated finish.

(30% whole clusters and 50% new oak barrels) Vivid purple. Fresh, spice-tinged cherry and blackberry scents are brightened and lifted by suggestions of smoky minerals and pungent flowers. Fleshy and vibrant on the palate, offering juicy dark berry and violet pastille flavors and a hint of licorice. Lively, focused and appealingly sweet on the persistent finish, which features harmonious tannins and a resonating floral quality.
Excellent fragrance and juiciness with the most delicious raspberry fruit on the nose. Just so delicious! Outstanding fruit ripeness, finishing with appetising savoury bitterness. Quite the beauty. (RH)
