Medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir Quail Hill Vineyard has broody aromas of cranberry sauce, turned earth and dark cherries. The medium-bodied palate is soft and fresh with restrained, earth-laced fruits and a spicy finish. 1,839 cases produced.

Fermented with around 5-10% stems and from a single vineyard in the Russian River Valley, the 2018 Pinot Noir Quail Hill Vineyard spent 14 months in 38% new French oak. This wine shows lots of black raspberry and black cherry fruits as well as notes of forest floor, medium to full body, a round, textured mouthfeel, and a smooth, easygoing style. It shows the purity and finesse of the 2018 vintage nicely.
