Tasting notes
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Jemma comes exclusively from the family's property off Silverado Trail, in the area known informally as Soda Canyon. Hints of mint join bold cassis on the nose, while the full-bodied, muscular palate is concentrated, with ample tannins. Give it another few years to soften a bit.

Next up, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Jemma offers more red and black fruits as well as notes of camphor, toasted spices, and dried tobacco leaf. More medium to full-bodied, elegant, and nicely balanced on the palate, it’s another terrific wine from this estate that offers loads to love. It doesn’t have quite the density or concentration of the estate cuvée, but it should still drink beautifully for 20-25 years.
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Jemma is a juicy, inviting wine. Inky dark fruit, mocha and spice all flesh out in this succulent, wonderfully inviting Cabernet. Dried herbs, spice and flowers linger on the finish. This is very nicely done.
