Tasting notes
Greenish yellow. Explosively perfumed nose shows a strong iodine accent to the ripe pear, yellow plum, white flower and smoked meat aromas. Leesy notes add depth to this Coche-Dury look-alike's energetic orchard fruit flavors. At once powerful and elegant, with spice, smoke and leesy notes carrying through very long, balanced finish. This is a steal for the quality.

The 2004 Chardonnay Heintz Vineyard is a stunner. Smoky hazelnuts intermixed with buttered pineapple and tropical fruit jump from the glass of this full-bodied, exotic Chardonnay that really coats the mouth and is super-fragrant and rich. This is a stunner that tips the scales at a whopping 15.2% alcohol. Tel. (707) 433-6425; Fax (707) 433-6546
