Tasting notes
The 2021 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill was matured for 11 months in 45% new French oak, plus eight months in stainless steel. It has pure scents of flint, golden apple, quince peel, toast and honey. The light-bodied palate is surprisingly energetic, combining concentrated, honey-nut flavors with shimmery acidity that calls you back for another sip.

The 2021 Chardonnay Bootlegger's Hill pours a bright silver/yellow hue and has a more lifted profile on the nose, offering a bright and savory side with notes of fresh piney herbs, lime leaf, ripe apples, and citrus zest. Medium to full-bodied, it retains wonderful freshness and a mouthwatering feel on the palate, with notes of lemon preserve and a long finish. This is another fantastic wine with some real aging potential. Drink 2026-2036.
