Tasting notes
The 2018 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard is a stand out. Bright and focused the Lorenzo is so vivid in the glass. Lemon peel, white flowers, mint and white pepper all grace this finely sculpted, driving Chardonnay from winemaker Andy Smith and DuMOL. Readers who enjoy intensely mineral Chardonnays will absolutely adore the Lorenzo. What a wine!

The 2018 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard has soft scents of apricot, flint, toast and white blossom, with a medium-bodied palate that expands, unexpectedly, to silky, savory layers, with seamless freshness and a long, nuanced finish. What a gorgeous, lifted expression from this 44-year-old vineyard.
The 2018 Chardonnay Lorenzo Vineyard shows quite a bit of weight and power at this stage. Tangerine, mint and pretty floral notes open up nicely. The Lorenzo is not as obvious as some of the other Chardonnays in the range, but it is super impressive just the same.
