The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Thomas Vineyard is one of the more approachable wines in this range. Medium in body, creamy and expressive, this is very nicely balanced, which makes it a real pleasure to taste - even at this early stage. Dark red cherry, plum, pomegranate, mint, wild flowers and mocha add appealing aromatic nuance. The 2017 is not especially complex, but it is impeccably well-balanced and delicious.
Very deep purp-black colored, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Thomas Vineyard delivers expressive notes of crushed blackcurrants, ripe blackberries and black cherries plus hints of cloves, cardamom, dusty soil and iron ore with a waft of cedar. Full, firm and chewy in the mouth, it has a lively line and refreshing acidity lifting the earth-laced black fruit flavors to a good, long finish.
