Tasting notes
Medium ruby in color, the 2019 Pinot Noir Sea Field Vineyard has detailed, alluring scents of blood orange, strawberries and raspberries with accents of cracked pepper, salumi and angostura bitters. The medium-bodied palate features loads of finely grained tannins and refreshing acidity that highlights its perfume and spicy accents on the extended finish.

The 2019 Pinot Noir Sea Field emerges from a single block in Hellenthal, one of the top sites in Fort Ross-Seaview. There is more vibrancy and power here than in the Royal St. Robert, as fruit and tannin vie for attention. Time in the glass brings out more ethereal qualities that are hugely appealing. I would cellar the 2019 for at least a few years.
