Score 87/100 · Drink 1994-2009, Robert Parker, Feb 1994
Unquestionably a star of the vintage, Grand-Puy-Lacoste's 1991 reveals a deep ruby color, a lovely perfumed nose of black fruits, cedar, and herbs, medium body, soft, ripe, fleshy flavors, and surprising length. It should drink well for at least 10-15 years. It is an excellent effort for the vintage.
