Score 87/100 · Drink 2000-2009, Robert Parker, Apr 2000

The tell-tale blackberry/cassis character is well-displayed in this dark ruby/purple-colored wine. There is excellent ripe fruit, soft tannin, low acidity, and a delicious, easy-going personality. Although it will not make "old bones," it is a ripe, soft, attractive, evolved Bordeaux for consuming over the next 8-9 years.

Rather light, with berry and herbal character. Short finish. Not as good as I hoped for GPL. James Suckling, Wine Spectator 2000.
