Score 93/100 · Drink 2020-2030, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Jan 2020

Deep garnet in color, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Nomad delivers an impactful nose of mature crème de cassis, stewed plums and baked blackberries scents with touches of tobacco leaf, fried herbs, Indian spices, sandalwood, balsamic and espresso plus a touch of dusty soil. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has an impressive structure of firm, ripe tannins and seamless freshness supporting the muscular, savory fruit, finishing with a perfumed lift.

Score 94/100 · Drink 2017-2029, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2012

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Nomad flows with the essence of expressive dark fruit, tobacco, new leather, licorice and sweet spices. The 2009 stands out for its perfumed aromatics, silky fruit and soft-textured personality. A soft, voluptuous wine, the 2009 captures all the best qualities of the vintage. In 2009, the Nomad was made from fruit sourced from Crystal Springs (61%) and Las Piedras (39%).
