Score 88-90/100 · Drink 2023-2036, Neal Martin, Dec 2020

The 2019 Corton Grand Cru comes mainly from Rognets and was completely destemmed with no new oak. It has a well-defined bouquet of blackberry, bilberry and briary aromas, a light briny influence developing with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and generous in the mouth, although it needs a little more definition on the finish. This is one cuvée where I might have added a few stems to pep it up.
